Kyren Ari Stills

Hello there my fellow Roleplayers!
Sorry for the delay but "Mr. Rodeo" had too much personality for just one month! Anyways lets kick him to the curb now and welcome our newest and most anticipated character, Mr. Moody himself,

Kyren Stills

From the words of our lovely Sui, "Like a true Cancer, he is moody and reserved!"

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

True this young man is rather rough around the edges. Far from your "friendly" average highschooler. Secluding himself majority of the time Kyren immerses his attention and talent into his sketchbook. However his stoic aura is shaken only when his adorkable little sister, Emma is in his presence! If your lucky (very very very lucky) when she shows up you may even see him crack a smile. And who knows he may even have a smile that makes girl's swoon! But it's usually gone just a quickly as it appeared.

Okay, lets just get it out of the way and say this boy has an undeniable sister complex! Unwavering in fact! After loosing their father at a young age Kyren promised to protect her in his Dads place. He spends the majority of his time making sure Emma is happy and healthy! Also for her own good he battles to keep the Samo strays far away from her. Now Kyren isn't ALWAYS, as his creator may claim, a Drama King! He can be very compassionate and more than willing to treat you as family if he finds you trustworthy and you become close enough with him.

So, some advice when crossing paths with this eyeliner wearing teen. Keep your loud antic to yourself they certainly don't impress him (just ask Lena)! Keep sugar out of his reach, it makes his do very very bad things! ;) && Don't and I mean DON'T touch his sister!
Follow these simple rules, and you might survive!

Now off to the Interview! This one should be a HOOT!

Okay, so we know that over the past several months there has been very little activity in the roleplay! But really that wasn't the intial point in creating this forum in the first place.
Rai Island is what brought us all together. It's our home away from home, so to speak! We are not just a Forum full of gifted and creative writers . . . however a place full of wacky and crazy friends ;)
A place where we are creating unforgettable memories!

Even though we are constantly changing and still knee deep in finding ourselves in the world; we know that through the tears that fall and the smiles that grace our faces we will always have each other! Because no matter where our lives take us, nothing will change so much that we are not all friends still!

&& We will always have RaiIsland to come back to! Our Island ♥
Okay, okay enough of the cheesiness!
I love you CRAZY ladies!

Celi nodded, silently happy that he decided to stay, at least she'd have someone to talk to now. She lead the taller man to her work room, which was formerly known as the office until she and Mimi turned it, and the connecting library, into their own personal studios, not like they had use for them otherwise. The downside to living in such a large home when there was only two people living there most of the time was that there was just too much space sometimes, leaving a person feeling as though they were all alone when really someone was just a room away. The upside though, was that they could put or do pretty much anything they wanted with the non-used rooms, their no show parents had little input other than "Don't destroy the house".

"Alright, it'll be easier since you don't have your shirt on but you'll need to lose the pants too" Celi, unfortunately, forgot the little episode she had with John back in his dressing room. The Wilder seemed to prefer going commando then wearing a decent pair of shorts.

She wanted him to strip? And after she had made it a point to look away when he was changing at the arena? There was a momentary look of surprise on his face, but it was gone just as fast as it had appeared. Who was he to argue with her crazy logic anyway? She was the one paying him, so he'd be better off just going with it. "You're the boss." He said simply with a shrug, dropping his jeans just as nonchalantly as he had back at the arena. Since underwear has a habit of not being able to magically appear without one deciding to put some on, John still wasn't wearing any. He did, however, have the courtesy to cover himself with his cowboy hat.

Celi blushed wildly ~no pun intended~, when she turned back around from looking for her measuring tape. How could she have forgotten about his god damn annoying lack of underwear!? She pinched the bridge of her brow in embarrassed annoyance, at least he had the decency to cover up, even though it only helped a little.

Steeling her nerves, though her face still clashed horribly with her magenta hair, Celi made quick work of getting all his measurements, being sure not to linger her eyes or hands on any particular body part. "Ok, done, put you pants back on!" She all but ordered him, mumbling to herself about making him wear/bring a pair of shorts with him the next time she needed to check his size.

Thoroughly amused at how red her face became in such a short amount of time, John watched her closely as she took each measurement as quickly as she could. The poor girl was obviously embarrassed at her faux pas, but was determined enough to push through it. That was a good bit of self control right there if he ever saw it. When she all but ordered him to put his pants back on, he nodded in agreement. "Yes ma'am." He said, placing his cowboy hat back on his head and straightening it. Then he tugged his jeans back up and fastened them once more. "Better?"

"Much" She said with her back to him, hastily writing down his numbers, Celi hated it that he was laughing ~albeit inwardly~ at her expense, and she was the one who caused it too! "Next time, bring some damn shorts! Or better yet, wear them!" She yelled, her cheeks still an embarrassed red, while pointing/waving her pencil at him in frustration.

"Hey, I only did what you wanted me to do." John pointed out, "And I don't wear underwear. I'd have to go out and buy some if you really want me to wear them. They're so uncomfortable and restrictive though. I really can't see how anyone can stand wearing them." He tipped his hat back slightly and looked down at her as she fumed in embarrassment. "Quit gettin' mad. It's not like I'm swatting you with my dick or anything, so why not laugh about it?"

"Try it and I'll cut it off!" Celi threatened, glaring up at him, though it was probably hard to take her seriously with her face a vibrant shade of red."And if you won't wear the damn things, then at least wrap a towel around you! Unlike those air headed, bimbo 'fans' of yours, I don't want to see!" The mere thought of those wasted females almost made her sneer in disgust, the fact that they not only trashed their own bodies but would also willingly open their legs for whoever asked, sickened her. "They've completely degraded themselves!"

"No you won't." He said simply, "You need me to model, so you wouldn't do anything like that. Besides, I'm pretty sure you won't get very far. But if it really bothers you that much, I'll wear some." As for her comment about not wanting to see, he somehow doubted that but shrugged it off anyway. Celi was obviously letting her embarrassment get to her.

"You don't need your dick to model you know" She said deadpanned, mentally wondering if Rodeo's true dangerous quality was a zero sense of modesty and a couple of quick draw comebacks. Though Celi was relieved that he'd cover himself up from now on, she wasn't a prude or anything, she liked guys just as much as any girl. But unlike others, Celi had priorities, and none of them involved finding a boyfriend.

"No wonder most male models seem so effeminate." John replied easily, "You must not want me to model as much as you claimed, Celi. Otherwise, you'd skip the threats." He turned back towards the door of the studio and started walking back towards the kitchen, intent on retrieving his shirt and leaving. Once he was in the kitchen, he grabbed it and pulled it on.

The college student pulled her hair in frustration, stomping her heel clad foot and gritting her teeth to keep from cussing up a storm. She was pissed, at him, at herself, she didn't know! All she knew was that her temper ran wild again and now it was going to cost her, her possibly one and only chance at having John Wilder as a model! "God dammit!" She yelled, unable to keep a lid on her voice any longer along, along with a few other choice words thrown in. In a fit of emotion, she punched the wall, going straight throw the hard drywall and almost instantly hissing in pain as her fist collided with something sharp and painful, most likely a pillar full of nails.

John was about halfway through the front door when he heard her furious outburst, followed by a loud bang. Annoyance at her temper -since it was so similar to his own- and her little hissy fit almost pulled him out the door and out of their deal permanently, but the sound of her hissing in pain stopped him instantly. Instead of debating with himself whether or not staying with Celi's modeling job was worth the headache, John raced back to where he'd left the designer.

She was attached to the wall rather painfully, her fist having punched a hole in the wall. By the look on her face, she'd probably hit a beam as well. Lovely. Coming up behind her, he wrapped one arm around her waist, grabbing her extended wrist with his free hand. "What were you thinking, punching the wall like that?" John scolded her, "Here, relax your arm." When her arm was relaxed as it could be, considering the pain, he squeezed her wrist firmly enough to loosen her fingers from the beam and pull her free as gently as he could without making her injuries worse.

"Since when does anyone think when punching a wall!?" Celi bit out, not really angry at him but of her own stupid situation, it was just her luck that this kind of thing happened! She hissed in pain, despite him being extremely gently as he pulled her arm free, her other hand gripping the arm wrapped around her waist to keep from trying to flinch away from the pain.

When he finally got her arm out, she got a look at the damage. Her hand was cut up and bloody, probably from cutting herself on a stray nail or piece of wood, with an obvious bruise forming along her tender knuckles. Her wrist was in slightly better shape, thank goodness, only being scrapped up by the drywall that had surrounded it. It was safe to say her whole hand, plus part of her wrist, would have to be cleaned and bandaged for it to heal right.

She was immediately thankful that it was her left hand that was damaged and not her right, otherwise she'd never get anything done, but her work speed was now reduced greatly without the use of both hands. "Thanks..." She said, sighing in a mix of relief and exasperation at her own stupidity.

"Save your thanks until after we get you patched up." John clipped shortly, scooping her off her feet as if she weighed as much as a doll, "Though you might not be thanking me. This is going to sting." Despite whatever protests she might've had, the fighter carried her around until he located the bathroom and pulled some peroxide, bandages, gauze and other stuff from the first aid kit. Grumbling under his breath, he seat to work.

First, he rinsed the cuts and scrapes with cold water to help numb the pain a little, then he cleaned the cuts out properly with the peroxide and cotton balls. Once he was sure the bleeding was stopped, he fished the healing rub that he'd used earlier out and applied a good deal of it to her injuries. When he was finally done, she was all patched up. "There."

Celi gave a rather undignified squeak, as she was suddenly hauled around her house by John. Her legs were working just fine, thank you very much! But there was little she could do, her light 120lbs was nothing against his unyielding strength. She pouted to herself, as she let the frustrated man run circles around her house, looking for the bathroom. "He could have just asked where it was"

Still, the injured young woman uttered no complaints when as he expertly cleaned and bandaged her bloody hand and wrist, biting her lip to keep from groaning out in pain. At least, she hadn't broken anything, as expertly skilled as John was at first aid, she doubted he could do much for a broken bone. She was immediately relieved when it was over though, not that he wasn't gentle with her but the sting peroxide wasn't pleasant at all. "Yea, it stung but still thanks for helping. I probably wouldn't have been able to do much on my own" She uttered the last part more to herself then to him, Celi doubted she would have even been able to get her hand out successfully if she was by herself.

He tossed the bloodied cotton balls in the little trash bin and started putting the supplies away. "Yeah, just don't do something stupid like that again. You'd have been in serious trouble if I hadn't come back or worse - if I didn't hear you." John muttered, still a little frustrated with her. Though now, it was for an entirely different reason. He didn't like to think of her as helpless considering her attitude, but she was going to be seriously slowed down because of her lousy decision. Surely she'd be fine if he left her on her own, but there was also a chance that she might not. He didn't particularly feel obligated to help her with her little fashion project, but the fact that she was hurt now made it a lot harder to just walk out. After a long, drawn out silence he finally asked, "You still want my help?"

She solemnly nodded her head, knowing that if he hadn't come back to save her, she'd be stuck with no way out. Her phone was over on her work desk so calling 911 was out, and Mimi wouldn't be back from her friend's until late this evening. The magenta haired woman was extremely grateful that John had come back for her, even though she was the one who ran him off in the first place.

"You're willing to stay?" Celi asked, completely shocked when she heard him ask if she still wanted his help. He'd be willing to stay, even though she thought for sure he'd still want to leave after this whole fiasco?

"No." John said pointedly, the expression on his face hard and serious. The fighter stood there with his arms crossed over his well-muscled chest, staring at her disapprovingly for a few moments. Suddenly, a corner of his lips tugged up into a half smile and he shook his head. "Yeah, I'll stay. If you have some mesh and spackle, I can patch up your wall for you while you start your patterns. Or whatever." He offered with a shrug.

Celi nearly gaped in shock when he refused to stay, didn't he just ask if she still needed his help!? But that all melted away with his half smile, that jerk, playing with her like that! Instead of getting angry again though, she only gave a breathless laugh, knowing she well deserved the mean stunt. "Thank goodness he's staying..."

"I think we have some out in the garage, I'll go get it for you" She quickly got up, hiding her content grin, and made a beeline for the exit, only to pause at the bathroom door. "Oh, and John, I'm sorry for earlier. I was embarrassed and let my temper get the best of me.....I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that" She said, not bothering to hide her red dusted cheeks or apologetic smile.

Now that was unexpected. An apology wasn't something he was used to getting very often. Unsure of how to respond, he scratched the back of his neck and shrugged. "Yeah. Me too." John mumbled and decided to go wait for her in the studio. As he walked back towards the studio, he looked around at his surroundings and had to pause. The house was much larger than his family's house and so...empty. Not just lacking people, but lacking warmth as well. It didn't feel as lived in as the house he grew up in, but he supposed that it couldn't be helped. With no-show parents, it was bound to get a little lonely.

The hole itself wasn't terribly large and would be relatively easy and quick to fix. Celi's fist hadn't wrecked anything but the drywall itself and a small area of paint. He could have it patched within a few minutes and paint it for her tomorrow if she wanted to pick up the paint.

A small smile bloomed on Celi's face, not really amused at John's unease, but more happy with his own mumbled apology. She guessed that he wasn't used to receiving or giving apologies to anyone, much like herself. They really were two peas in a pod, she mused.

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Celi quickly headed to the garage and found what she needed. She had a bit of trouble trying to juggle everything with only her right arm, her left was still aching a bit, though the bandage and healing rub was working wonders already. But she managed, and just as quickly, headed to the workroom where she was sure John already was. Once she made it back, she immediately placed everything on the table, relieved to have it all out of her arms. "Here's everything you asked for, anything else?"

"I could use a beer, but I doubt you'd approve." John said simply, cutting only as much mesh as he needed to cover the hole in the wall, "And I doubt you'd want me to smoke in your house. Aside from that, some music would be great. It would help the both of us work faster and fill up the silence." Not waiting for an answer, John began patching the hole with the mesh right away. Using the flexible spackle knife, he scooped some of the white mixture and smoothed it over the mesh, sealing it into place and flattening it out. Placing the knife down, he stepped away from the patched hole to let it dry.

While it was drying, he prepared the sanding tiles, the spray primer and the texturizer. Spraying the primer and then the texture over the patch, he picked up one of the sanding tiles and set to work on sanding it to match the rest of the wall. After about half an hour, it was dry and smooth. Standing back, he nodded in approval at his work. Aside from the fact that it was a different color, there were no other traces of there having been a hole in the wall.

"I don't have any beer and you're right about the smoking, but the music is do-able" Celi wasn't one for drinking herself but didn't disapprove of someone underage drinking themselves, so long as they weren't too underage that is. As for the smoking, well she had already made it clear back at the arena that she wasn't a fan of it or the smell.

Turning the stereo on and up, she turned to look over at John, who was already in the process of fixing her wall. "Anything in particular you want to listen to? Country maybe?" She asked, remembering what was playing in his truck on the drive over and tuned into the same station, turning up the volume a bit more and letting the sound flood the silent space.

Not wanting to idly stand around, Celi walked over to work area, quickly setting to work drawing out the patterns she would need in John's size. It took a longer, trying to drape, pin, measure, and cut what she needed into place on the dress form. But she managed to get it done, albeit she had to be more careful then usual, least she either ruin what she already had or bring a sting of pain to her injured hand.

"Country music is always welcome." John murmured quietly as he began taking care of the the wall patching supplies. Once he was finished, he settled into a comfortable standing position behind Celi. Leaning against the back of her chair, he watched her work slowly but diligently. What he was doing could be considered hovering. The fighter didn't care though. He simply watched as she cut and draped and pinned the fabric, looking on in a mix of interest and slight discomfort.

Celi was busy in her own little world, completely oblivious to the hovering man behind her, as she carefully worked diligently on her own project. John was more muscular then other male models that she had worked with, not that that was a bad thing, but it made it hard for her to properly drape the material on the form. To compensate for his more defined torso, she had to wrap some fabric around the forms torso until it fit his own measurements.

With precise snips of her scissors, piece after piece of the clothing pattern was made, and before she knew it, half of the dress form was successfully clothed. With a satisfied smile, she leaned back to get a better look at the work she had so far, only to jump in surprise when she came in contact with something very solid behind her. "Holy-!?" Wide indigo eyes stared up at the man leaning against the back of her chair, not having noticed him there at all. "When did you-? You scared me half to death!"
