This is the home belonging to Mrs and Mr Kojike and their 19 year old daughter, Larissa.
The home is very nice, and has two levels. Downstairs, the front door leads into a large and spacious living room lit mainly by natural sunlight that streams through the large picture windows dressed in lacy white curtains. There is one on either side of the maple wood door. To the right side of the room is Mr and Mrs Kojike's bedroom, the white door matching perfectly the color of the painted walls of the living room. A 3000 gallon marine aquarium stretches the span of the left wall of the living room. To one side of the door, under a window is the soft white couch and a television in front of that. A bookshelf is also in the room.
directly ahead of the living room lies the dining room, and the marine tank extends into it as well, passing the ceiling supports. The many marine fish appear to be able to swim through the dividing wall in this way. The tank set up includes natural white sea sand, artfully arranged live rock and many different examples of sea life, which makes it a pleasure to just sit and watch the natural behaviors and beauty of an underwater world.
The dining room also houses the large black Iron glass topped kitchen table and six matching black iron chars, with soft cream colored cushions to sit on. There are always fresh flowers situated in a scalloped crystal vase at the very center of the table. The floor is a beautiful dark hardwood stretching on into the kitchen where it meets the stove, refrigerator and sink. A staircase leads from the dining room to the upstairs, where there are 4 doors. two on either side of the hall. to the left you will find the first room is Larissa's and the second is the attic door. The opposite side of the hall holds the attic door and an extra bedroom. Larissa's ferret lives in her bedroom in a large cage with toys and hammocks.
The kitchen is large with many cabinets and storage spaces spread all around the room. The counter is large and can fit many people working at it. The room is brightly lit and is a cheerful space in the house, almost always smelling of baking bread or other delicious foods. There is a small island in the center of the room where fresh fruit is always left out in a large bowl for snacks.
to the right side of this room are three doors One leads to the large, fully finished basement, the middle one leads to the bathroom and the other, to the laundry room.
Outside, there is a lovely expanse of grass where many different trees and flowers grow. It is one of the most beautifully landscaped yards in the district. A large pond surrounded by cattails and irises and has water lilies and water hyacinth floating on the water's surface. The pond holds many expensive and colorful Japanese Koi. The beautiful pond flanks the side of the house and is a focal point in the landscaping design, being in a very prominent position. A swinging bench is suspended from a tree near the pond and three willow trees have been positioned and grown into natural, living chairs to rest on.
