Gadiel woke up tangled in a pile of blankets on the floor of his room, like he almost always did. He always seemed ti fall out of bed in his sleep, it seemed like. He rubbed his head, his long red hair twisted among his bedding. He fought his way free and stood up. He left his bedroom, in search of his Doberman, Yoda and his pug, Bug. He knew his mom would feed them so he sat down and ate the meal she had already set out for him. Of course she was gone already. when he was done eating, he petted his dogs who were now under the table, got up grabbed his school things and headed to school.

Gadiel came into the house and grabbing an apple from the fridge he went and sat on the couch. Both Bug and Yoda met him and jumped up beside him as he turned on the TV.

he watched TV all night and then went to his room to sleep

Gadiel woke up on the floor again, in his blankets. "why does this happen to me every night?" he asked himself. "Maybe I should stop trying to sleep in my bed."
Getting up, painfully, he went to the kitchen to eat, both his dogs following him. Quickly eating, he went out to his small garden to check his flowers. Glancing over next to the house, at the small barn and corral he though about his cousins' horses that were due to arrive there that day. His mom was NOT thrilled, but the horses had to go somewhere.

Kevin hurried into the house from the yard. My stupid brother and his stupid promises to our sister he thought. WHY does he have to bring those horses here? Why can't he just sell them? It doesn't matter that Tesanee likes them..what matters is we could get money for them. Kevin hurried to his room...

Aunt Eleuria had already told him he would have to leave her home as soon as he could, since she didn't want him around her son. She was worried about him rubbing off on her sweet, perfect boy. Kevin snorted. PERFECT? hah. as if. The only thing that made Kevin feel vindicated was that she liked Chepe as little as she liked Kevin. Seeing his cousin's pug come out from under the table, Kevin aimed a well placed kick at the dog's aide, lifting him up off the floor. Kevin went past the yelping dog to the fridge where he pulled out a bottle of juice. Not bothering with a glass, he drank straight from the bottle. Taking the full bottle of juice with him, he went into his room. He didn't want to but he knew he would have to get a place soon in one of the poor parts of the island. He grunted. Back home he had been a pretty good mechanic, but he'd also been good at building things.

Climbing off the motorcycle, chepe headed around the house to the barn, where he knew the four Arabians would be waiting for him. His sister's white mare, the two foals-a white colt and a painted filly, and his own black filly with white socks and blaze face. Quickly he checked their water, and talked to them a few moments, the foals' ears flickering back and forth as he talked.When he was finished with the horses, he went back to the house. He was glad he had remembered to check that the bike's trailer was still attached because he would need it to get the potted plants that Gadiel had given him back to the dorm. Chepe saw the four large pots with rosebushes in them. He was thinking about how perfect they were as he loaded them, and got back on his bike, he headed back to the dorm.

Gadiel woke up on the floor of his room as usual. This time however , the blankets stayed on the bed while he, someo=how had ended up on the floor with his dogs snuggled beside him.

Gadiel stood up, his body aching from the awkward sleeping position he had been in. He went downstairs to feed his dogs and eat his own breakfast. He pulled a plate of food his mom had made before leaving for work out of the fridge and ate slowly. When he had finished he knelt down and patted Bug and Yoda. Quickly putting their food in the the bowls, he stood and grabbed his bag and headed out the door. He noticed that the plants he had put out for Chepe were gone. "Good, he got them." He said to himself. Looking over at the barn, Gadiel saw the four horses standing around. He decided to feed them that morning so Chepe wouldn't have to then went to school.
