Keylee unloaded her boxes, bags and suitcases. Sighing, she dragged everything into her new, comfortable home. Her mom had insisted on a 3 bedroom house even though Keylee would have been happy with a smaller place. She had decided to use one of the rooms as storage since she had no use for 3 rooms. Leaving her things in the living room, she walked through the house, inspecting everything. When she had finally walked through the whole place, she chose the largest bedroom as her room. The smallest she decided would be for storage, until she got everything unpacked.
Quickly, she headed back to the living room and lifted a large box marked for the bathroom, taking it to the respective room. She did the same for all the boxes and suitcases, but even so she was left with plenty of extra stuff. She ended with setting her chinchilla cage up on a stand in the living room, her silver mosaic female chinchilla, Powder, and her Black Velvet male chinchilla, Ebony inside their cage.
She then moved to put her pinto Argentinian hedgehog, Elmo into his own 6 foot square cage which was on a table in the corner of the living room, a good distance away from the chinchillas. She spread Aspen bedding on the floor of the cage and set his little litter box up, and put his soft little blanket in the cage as well as his plastic toy balls and his food dish. She put the dish for his mealworms in between the food bowl and the water bottle. Lifting Elmo carefully out of his plastic carrier and setting him in his cage, Elmo buried himself inside the blanket under his plastic hide and went to sleep. She smiled to herself.
Going to the chinchilla cage, opening it and reaching inside she petted both of their soft as a cloud fur. She pulled her hand out of the cage, and closed the cage's door. "see you in a little while guys." she said to the small furry animals, as she went to her room and began unpacking all her clothes and putting them away in her already delivered dressers. and hanging things in her closets.
Keylee set her musical instruments in her closet too, which was very large. Having played with Chepe and their other friends back in Valley, she was very good with the old Silvertone guitar, that she did want to replace and the Acoustic Drum set that her family had given her years ago. Finally finishing unpacking, she went to sit on the large burgundy couch in her living room, brushing the long brown hair out of her sweaty face. leaning back, she fell asleep, listening to the chittering and laughing of her pets.
