"Is this kid serious?"

Running a comb through his drenched blonde locks Drewe paused for moment when the distinct sound of banging reach his ears through the locked bathroom door. His blue eyed gaze tore away from the door settling back on his nearly naked reflection in the mirror. He’d just stepped out the shower moments ago keeping a white towel wrapped securely around waist while getting ready for the day. It wasn’t that all his attention needed to be put into his appearance –only most of it- he just honestly didn’t care or think it was worth his time to find the source of that bothersome noise. The only person that would be banging at his dorm door this early would either be the scorned looking for a bone to pick with him, or that little blonde bug that kept insisting that he allow her to spend some time with him… “family bonding”. And he definitely wouldn’t be answering that caller without a flyswatter. At the thought of Danielle, Drewe rolled his eye placing the comb down on the counter. Andy needs to put a leash on that girl…not surprising that guy can’t do anything right…

A few minutes had passed since the noise had ceased. Putting his toothbrush back in its holder Drewe adjusted his towel heading out of the bathroom. His destination had originally been his room to get dressed, that was until he caught sight of a rather lovely girl dressed in what he assumed to be his roommates clothing –since she was literally drowning in them- exiting the boy’s room. The walk of shame huh? Cocking an eyebrow Drewe took in the girl’s appearance with a small smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. The only time a walk of shame should occur in this dorm is when she’s coming out of my bedroom… Drewe’s thoughts never mirrored the words he spoke. On the contrary he was very particular with his choice of words, after all he wouldn’t let anyone really know the evil haughty mastermind he really was. He much preferred to be thought of as the gentleman he pretended to be.

Standing there half naked drops of water falling from his hair onto his broad tanned shoulders, Drewe smiled through his feigned apology mainly to the lady for his own appearance. “I’m sorry I didn’t realize there was company here.” Although he had hoped to have the dorm all to himself void of a roommate, Drewe wouldn’t have any objections to one with a friend…sibling…acquaintance…hopefully not a girlfriend….as adorable as the one standing before him. Turning to the oddly white haired boy Drewe addressed him, “You must be my roommate, I wasn’t sure if you were going to show up or not. My name’s Drewe.” . . . . . . . . . . .

After the short introductions the blonde turned toward his bedroom. “Excuse me while I change into something less revealing.”

Is this kid serious? His roommate’s excitement was a bit over the top and honestly a little awkward for Drewe. Females were normally the ones jumping up and down in excitement when meeting him not so much other men . . . Shrugging it off the only thing on the other side of that door that even interested him was that small girl that had chosen to avert her eyes at the sight of him in a towel. Her shyness tempted him to tease her a bit although he’d held back since he wasn’t sure yet just how she would react to him. Taking his time to dress Drewe pulled on a tight black t-shirt along with a pair of dark denim jeans. Taking notice of the morning drizzle outside he slipped on a red jacket for good measures – leaving it unzipped.

Exiting his room a good 10 to 15 minutes later fully dressed, Drewe tossed the white towel into his laundry hamper before turning to his roommate who was now being scolded by his . . . friend? “Sorry about that.” Drewe piped in making his presence known to the two. “It’s nice to meet you too Kenta, and I don’t think I caught your girlfriend’s name. . .” What better way to find out what he had really wanted to know than by laying all the cards out on the table and calling it as he saw it . . . Drewe had learned a long life lesson his sophomore year, and kept all girl’s that were in relationships off his radar.
No matter how puny the boyfriend looked.

Hmm . . . childhood friends? Well the news was a little better though Drewe was still contemplating leaving Shiori, as the dark haired Asian introduced herself, far off his radar. After all once things went south -which it was inevitable- he didn’t want this fluffy white haired excitable puppy turning on him. By the looks of it he was very loyal –like most dogs- to his childhood friend and he wanted to avoid having to dorm with someone who he might have problems with later on down the road . . . then again if Drewe Pryde wanted something you better believe he’d find one way or another to get it.

“I guess I shouldn’t be assuming such things.” Drewe responded finding Kenta’s reaction a bit entertaining. It was definitely this boy’s loss that he hadn’t taken advantage of the situation he was in, but his loss only opened the door for Drewe’s gain. “It’s nice meeting you as well Shiori, so how long have you two been on the island?”

"Hey hey, Drewe! You're in the same History class as us right? Wanna walk with us? We can meet and greet some more on the way!" Kenta, by all means, was thrilled to have finally met his roomie and was eager to get to know the blonde better. And what better way to do that, then to talk to the guy? Plus Shiori was with them too, it would do her some good to get to know someone here on campus, especially since that person was someone she'd probably see a lot.

Drewe was starting to notice a pattern with his roommate - the boy was easily excitable. The simple fact that Drewe might join them on their short walk to class was enough to get his fair haired dormmate all pumped for a sociable encounter, and [b]that[b] was something Drewe had wanted to avoid for as long as possible. Meet and greet? Bonding…? No thank you! The fact he even ended up getting stuck sharing a dorm in the first place was completely unexpected. For the past three years of rooming at Valevay, Drewe had managed to sweet talk his way to his own personal bachelor pad. Yet this year the administration had thrown a wrench into his plans by hiring a new person to head up the department that worked hand in hand with on campus housing, to his surprise - a man. Now what was he supposed to do? Complement the guy on his masculine figure? I think not! So alas that’s how he found himself in this situation….stuck with literally his first roommate ever, a boy who was all too happy to be here with him.

Flipping the collar of his jacket collar up Drewe flashed his pearly whites in an apologetic smile toward Kenta, “Sorry but I’ve already made plans this morning so I won’t be able to join you guys. Another time maybe… Also I’m sure Shiori needs some time to change back into her own clothes for class.” From what Drewe had picked up thus far from Shirori’s personality, it’d be in his better judgment to keep the perverted thoughts that popped into mind at that particular moment to himself, for the time being. Such as the fact that he wouldn’t mind seeing the dark haired beauty attend class in Kenta’s overly large t-shirt. Since the thin cotton fabric accentuated the more satisfying part of the woman’s body clinging to her subtle curves. “Well I’ll see you guys in class then.” With one last fleeting glance Drewe parted heading out in the direction of the courtyard.
