Drewe's hopes of shoulder to shoulder bonding with a beautiful lady was destroyed within seconds as the girl across from him nonchalantly scooted her text book across the table. Well, that was anticlimactic... Not missing a beat Drewe replied with a small thank you plastering a fake smile on his lips - though he was deeply disturbed and ashamed at the fact that she didn't want to share with him, claiming she didn't need it. He might have tried working some magic on her if Lori hadn't beat him to.
Opening the book Drewe listened in on the interaction between Becky (as Lori had called her) and the elegant Lorilynn - who scooted much closer feeling the need to share. The whole situation made the boy's mouth twitch, What!? This Becky was an evil mastermind! She'd ridded herself of her own dingy book - ditching it with him, and now she got the pleasure of having his lovely lady shoulder rubbing over the same textbook?
As the offer was shot down Drewe waited for his moment to intervene planning to swoop in and steal Lorilynn right from under Becky's nose, seeing as she was occupied with hiding her amusement of her classmates word choices. If the sportish teen couldn't appreciate the exceptional fair haired beauty than Drewe sure would! She could call him whatever she pleased, as long as she was on her back while she did! Snapping the history book closed he leaned forward slightly and -Boink!
"What the...?"Something bouncing off the back of his head had immediately detoured Drewe's (lewd) attention from the girls. Turning back to locate who or what had the nerve to hit him the boy's eyes widened, finding himself face to face with Chuck Wilder. Why was he here? Since when has any of the Wilder's attended Valevay, and why must they start now - here of all classes? The Wilder family certainly wasn't known for being wealthy, and if they had won a lottery the Island would be buzzing about it. Plus this shorty definitely wouldn't have arrived to school dressed like that! No way he got in on his academics, so if he hadn't bought his way in WHY was he sitting there behind him . . . . in this class . . . . with THAT look on him face, waiting for the slightest move so that he could spring up from his seat to clobber the unexpecting blonde.
Where had Drewe gone so terribly wrong to anger a Wilder? After all he had a solid rule not to get involved with anyone associated with that wild pack of brutes. He'd witnessed one of the kids older brother's fights at the Arena, and knew better than to ever cross paths with them. If you mess with one, certainly the rest would be out for blood. As Chuck pointed at little Emma and back to himself it all made sense. Well, it was simpler than he originally thought. Chuck had a fetish for nerds!? She didn't strike Drewe as the type you'd usually see attached to a Wilder's arm, but hell if he cared! If it kept his pretty face in one piece he'd be sure to keep his distance from her. Well at least a chair seat away. Nodding his head Drewe let Chuck know his threat was heard loud and clear. Emma was off limits!
Crossing his arms Drewe sank into his seat -which he'd scooted slightly away from the small girl beside him- mumbling to himself, "Damn, today is a day from hell!"
Someway, somehow this was all Andy's fault!

Well, touché Becky. Touché!
