The Snow Residence

This is the home Mrs Snow and her children, Kimimela, Isi and Cody and their pets.
Isi Owns 2 sugar gliders, and the family has a black and tan longhaired miniature dachshund named dusty and a calico cat named Callie. Lissa lives with her dad.

Darshan sat on the old, slightly worn and squashed, but still comfortable plaid couch in the living room of the house. He stretched and leaned back, the family's dachshund, Dusty, jumping up to snuggle next to him. He was happy with his life although it was difficult at times to not be able to give his family everything he felt they deserved. He had never had a day pass in which he did not regret the fact that his wife had to work, although she did seem to love her job. She was the island's veterinarian and she was a darn good one. He scratched Rusty's head and smiled at the small dog's reaction. The one blot on his otherwise perfect life was his 17 year old daughter Lissa. She was worthless and extremely quiet. He never had liked her.

Kimi was still asleep in her soft, warm bed, sleeping through her alarm clock for the third day in a row. She jerked awake, startled out of a dream. "How long has that alarm been going off?" She grumbled, looking at the clock on her bedside table. "Oh hell." She said. "I'm already late for class!!!" She jumped out of bed, tripping over her own feet as she hurried to get dressed for the day. Hurriedly slipping a pale pink dress over her head, she quickly ran a comb through her hair, and grabbing her books she ran out of the house, completely skipping breakfast. If she stopped to eat she would be even later. Her short black hair bounced cheerfully around her face as she ran. Why hadn't Lissa or Isi woken her up?? She would have to ask them when she saw them.

Cody was sitting in the living room, on his knees driving his big yellow dump truck after Dusty. "Vrroooooommm," he said, making car noises and following the dog, who was looking very confused as he tried to get away from the young boy and the big wheeled thing. Cody giggled at Dusty as the dog went into the kitchen with his mom.

Cody laughed, abandoning the dump truck and getting a book from the book shelf his mom had set up in the living room, beside the couch just for the kids. The childrens' movies, books and music were all on the large bookshelf and Cody had been taught early to respect these things and to not tear them up. Running into the kitchen Cody said "Mommy! Read to me....please?" His mom scooped him up as she said, "Okay.....let's go sit." He giggled. She carried him to the couch and they sat, Cody snuggled against her side as she read to him. The dog cuddled up on his lap, almost covering him.

After her mom had finished reading to her little brother, she scooped him up and made off with him, taking him outside. "Let's go play!" she said, laughing. They hurried through the door of the house, where Isi set Cody on the grass and sat beside him. She dug up some dirt with the spoon she had brought outside with her, mixing the brown soil with water until it was wet.

"I'm gonna show you how to make mud pies!" she laughed. "Just don't try to eat them...dad would freak out." she grinned. while she and Cody were playing Kimi would stay holed up in her room when she was home and Dusty was usually with her.

Isi didn't mind getting all dirty and muddy, and she was having fun with Cody, as she showed him how to shape the mud into small cakes, laughing as he got mud into his hair and on his clothes. She pushed her hair back out of her eyes, leaving muddy streaks through it with her dirty hands. She now had thick mud smeared on her clothing and across her cheek and forehead. "Hey cody! look!" she said as she scooped up blobs of mud and smeared it in a thick line over each cheek. "what does it look like?" she asked. "a football player?"

She grabbed him in a tight hug and squeezed him. Without thinking of how she looked she said, "want to go to the park?" she jumped up and took off holding Cody's hand as he followed her. She called back over her shoulder, "Mom, we're going to the park!" She led her brother from the front yard and hurried to the park where she couldn't wait to play with her brother. Isi didn't pay any mind to the fact that she was still covered in mud.

Cody giggled as his older sister picked him up and carried him out the door, holding on to her neck tightly. When she set him in the grass he looked at what she was doing when she plopped down beside him and started to dig in the grass, making a brown hole which was a clear contrast with the bright green.
He grinned when she told him what she was planning, and he immediately stuck his hands in the mud, grabbing a handful and squishing it between his fingers, before smearing it in his own hair.

Cody didn't do much with actually shaping the mud into anything resembling the patties his sister made. Instead he flung it at her, and wiped it all over himself.

When Isi pulled him into the hug, he giggled and wiped mud on her nose, before leaning over and giving her a feather light kiss on the tip of his sister's nose. "YAY! park!" he said happily as Isi called out to their mom and he followed her away.
