Playing in the park-Isi and Cody Snow. (other characters welcome)

Isi led cody into the park, the mud now dried into her hair, on her clothes and in her hair. As they walked she combed through her blue hair with her fingers, succeeding in removing just about all the dried mud from her hair. at least all visible mud, though she still had the streaks dried onto her face and some on her shorts.

Giving Cody a big hug she said "hey, buddy, want to kick the ball around?" She dropped it on the ground for him. "we can play with the ball if you want to" She bent her knees, ready to chase her brother and the ball, knowing how fast he was.

Cody hugged his sister back tightly, but when he saw her drop the ball he gave her a huge grin. "yes! lets play!" the small boy gave the ball a hard kick and sent it flying, immediately launching into a dead run, his sister right behind him. "Come get me isi!" he called out happily, giving the ball another hard kick and watching it go in the complete opposite direction which is to say, it went directly behind him right into his sister's leg.

"sis you ok?" he asked, turning around and running back to her. "I didn't mean to hit you." his eyes teared up and he sniffled."I love you sissy" he looked up at her worried she would be upset.

Isi ran after Cody quickly, but after the ball bounced off her leg and he came running back to her, she said "of course i'm ok, silly!" she fluffed his hair with her hand. "it just bounced off my leg."

She looked over toward the ball. "Let's get that thing!" she laughed and ran over to give the ball a little kick.. yes she was making it easy for her brother to steal it from her on purpose. She was a little surprised there wasn't anyone else in the park, and she wondered if anyone else would show up there.

Cody wrapped his arms around his big sister's leg and hugged it before reaching out for the ball which Isi gladly handed over to him. "Thanks!" he said, happily just before darting off in the direction of a few trees, dropping the ball on his way and kicking it. he loved being in the park and he loved running just for the sake of running. Very few people could catch up with the little boy once he got going fast, Even his sisters had difficulty with that. He had always been quick. Isi often joked that her brother had been born with running shoes on as he was running almost as soon as he had learned to stand.

Turning his head to look behind him at Isi, he called to her. "Going to try to catch me?" He laughed, a happy sound carrying easily on the calm warm day. Cody prepared to run again if his sister did indeed decide to come after him. He was in the mood to race but he also knew it would be a bit of a challenge to get his sister to chase him. She almost always let him get away with everything but if someone tried to bully him it was like an instant transformation. She defended him with every ounce of her strength no matter what.
