Rai Island's Security Center deals mainly with importing goods from the mainland and exporting goods all over. It also deals with tourism and new residents to Rai Island. Please note however, if you break the law you could get deported! You can also get deported for leaving the Forum or going MIA! Name: Everett Jr. Bolling

Appearance: Everett stands at a height of five-foot and six inches. His build is average, with broad shoulders. He's more top heavy than anything else, though he doesn't really play any sports. His eyes are a light brown, and his hair is a natural reddish-brown, and hangs straight down, framing his face. He has often been described as "pretty" due to taking after his mother's good looks. His style is rather plain, but usually shows off his body well. White t-shirts and well-fitted jeans are the norm for him. Usually they come from the more expensive brands that can be found in malls, and the hottest trending brands are usually where he prefers to buy for bis wardrobe.

Personality: Everett is a fun loving kind of guy. He likes to have a good time, and the motto "you only live once" is what he lives his life by. He has little to no sense of priorities, and although he's pretty skilled in academics, he tends to ignore school for other, more "important" things. He is a dare devil, and loves following through with stupid stunts, even if he knows they're ridiculous. He tends to ignore his common sense and gut feeling a lot. But he's also very clumsy. These two traits don't add up well together, and in result of that, Everett is constantly being bandaged up and put back together. He's broken or fractured his bones too many times for his own good, and has gotten in plenty of trouble for one lifetime.
Although Everett is a good person in the general term, he's had his moments. On top of that, he spent a lot of time in bad crowds in middle school and the beginning of high school. S*x, drugs, and alcohol were not unfamiliar things to him, and although he partook in those much less frequently than his friends, he still had many run-ins. But something happened suddenly, which he still refuses to speak about with others, that made him change his mind about those things. Now his fun consists of less crude hobbies and addictions. Yet that doesn't mean it's any less hazardous.

Background: Jessica and Everett first met in Valevay High School. They shared opinions about money, careers, and their hatred for Rai Island. And so they both moved to Florida to attend university. Later, they had Everett Jr. Once he grew some, he began te show reckless behavior, and by his preteen years he was immersed in a terrible group of friends. After many years of his troublesome behavior, his parents came to a final verdict. Whether it was just bad teaching on their part, or a rotten crowd of friends, his parents knew something had gone wrong with Everett. Finally becoming overwhelmed with their son after five years of frustration, and thousands of threats to send him back to Rai Island, they finally followed through with it. And they made sure to make it as unpleasant of a stay as possible.

-Everett moved in with his father's brother, right before his sophomore year.

Name: Xavier Looms

Appearance: Xavier is a lean boy, with wiry muscles. Many think, because of his tall and thin figure, that he is lacking in strength. But he's actually quite strong for the lack of exercising he does. Plus, any muscles he has is hidden by loose fitting clothing. After all, the boy rarely wears short sleeves, and jeans are usually the norm for him. The only time he wears skintight articles of clothing is on the occasion that he feels like pulling himself into a pair of skinnys. He has two pairs of shoes, and two only. His favorite red, black, and white high tops, and then worn combat boots.
His natural hair color is a dirty blond, but he dyes his hair a grayish-silver color, often adding black to it. Often he'll forget that he needs to dye it, and his dark roots will pop up. Either way, the color seems to oddly match well with his fair complexion and icy blue eyes.
Xavier is never seen without a small black necklace tight around his neck. No one knows why he wears it, and he doesn't care to let them in on the secret. If you manage to catch him in a daze, he'll probably be fingering the woven age-worn threads.

Personality:He's quiet, and often shy around the opposite s*x. But he's not antisocial, nor is he in any way mean. Rather, he's just not into crude jokes and obnoxious conversations, so he keeps to himself. He really enjoys being around others, though, when he's in a good mood. Otherwise, when he has off days, he'll tend to drift away from everyone; even more so than usual. He slouches a lot, which hints to low self-esteem, but he'll never admit to such a thing. He'll just deny it in a good-natured way.
Xavier has a lot of issues when it comes to people. He has trouble expressing himself, even if he means well. He also has a hard time defending himself when needed. Whether it's just fear of the person or just the fact of having to hurt that person, not even Xavier knows, but he always finds it hard to fight someone because of this. He also keeps a lot bottled in, and even if he gets angry all the time, he let's that anger sizzle inside himself.
But Xavier does have some strong points. He's pretty good in fights when he really gets into it, due to his naturally great agility and reaction-time. He's swift. This also carries over into a crisis, when one's brain must stay clear and focused. Most are surprised to find that this shy boy knows how to take action like a man in the worst of situations. Not to mention that he's a softie, thus a great listener!

Background: Xavier was born into one of the many wealthy families from Rai Island. His father was a tycoon, and was always off on business trips around the U.S. His mother worked as a nurse at the local hospital. Because his parents were very focused on their careers, they never had a second child, leaving Xavier to spend much of his time with the help or on his own. Once he began attending school at the age of six, he was very introverted; the perfect victim to be attacked by bullies.
An older girl, named Kina, who was five years older than him, ended up defending him. After that he made a habit of following her around. Obviously, the child was overjoyed to learn that she lived in his neighborhood. They quickly became friends, despite the age gap. Surprisingly, Kina didn't mind him following her around, besides a few phases she went through during her early teen years.
But they stayed close. She was his mother figure, sister figure, best friend, and first love all in one. He was heart broken when she decided to leave the island, and him along with it. But she planned to attend college in New York, so he tried his best to understand her reasons.
Once he turned fifteen, his parents decided that he did well enough in school to send him to Valevay Academy.

-He is still very much attached to Kina, though he never said his feelings outright, thus he has learned to repress those feelings. He still talks to her often through phone calls, text messaging, and emails.

Ethnically, Eyree is fairly diverse. Her father is nearly 100% Irish and Italian and her mother nearly 100% Israeli and Russian. Their daughter inherited the golden skin tone and petite, willowy body frame from her mother, while she received the brilliant chestnut hair and blue eyes from her father. She's also never been one to take things too seriously and her lips are almost always curled up on one end in a sort of satisfied smirk. When she was ten years old, she started experimenting with hair color and bleaching, since she was very eager to get rid of her dark strange-colored hair. She's been favoring a dark violet for many months now. She's only about five feet one inch and, thanks to years of rigorous gymnastics training, she's incredibly muscular, though not very curvy (something she truly wishes she had).
Personality:
Being an army brat, Eyree had to learn to make friends fast. She quickly got rid of all her shy behavior. She's extroverted and friendly, finding it very easy to make conversation with almost anyone. She's prone to speaking her mind and, coupled with her propensity to being incredibly opinionated, has gotten her into a few sticky situations in the past. She's been described as strong-willed, adventurous, and spirited (which, she tells people, is just their way of politely saying that she's stubborn, reckless, and free-willed). She's never said no to anything, preferring the mindset of "you only live once" instead of being hindered by fear and inhibition. However, given her past, Eyree does not know how to truly make a connection with someone.  She's friendly enough, though her careless and nonchalant attitude irritates some, but she has no true friends to her name. She's moved all around the world and sometimes, her parents would be re-stationed after only a few months, and they'd have to pack up and leave everything behind.
Background:
Her parents came to the US for school purposes, and met each other their first year at UCLA. Their romance was swift and so was their decision to join the army. With their multi-lingual background, they were invaluable for many different situations, which is why they were moved around so frequently. Three years into their marriage, they welcomed Eyree into the world. Growing up, Eyree loved seeing the world. While many other army kids she knew were so unhappy about having to move and leave everything behind, she loved it and spent every minute she could exploring and meeting the locals and learning their language. She's also learned how to get by on very little. She was smart enough to get into Valevay, but decided against it, since she's not entirely sure how long she'll be on Rai Island.

- She speaks Italian, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Ukranian, Moldavian, and Spanish fluently (four of which are spoken in her home)
- Because of her marvelous gymnastic ability, she managed to score a job coaching young kids in gymnastics
- She doesn't believe in morning showers
- She's had to replace both kneecaps due to a gymnastics injury and so her legs have multiple surgery scars (she damaged her ACL several years back as well). She avoids wearing skirts and dresses so she doesn't have to explain the scars to people.
- She has another scar, this one far more gruesome than the ones from her knee injuries, that is positioned on the left side of her back, just below where her heart would be. Her parents don't know about this one and she doesn't show it off. Around the scar, she's had a decorative map rose tattooed. There's a gruesome story behind it that she doesn't share.

Everyone else in her family is beautiful, statuesque, and both golden-haired and periwinkle-eyed. Meanwhile, Tammie seems to be "the recessive gene child", something that can probably be attributed to her father's largely diluted Scottish roots. Her nearly waist-long hair is a brilliant strawberry-blonde, more of a pale orange-red in color than gold, offsetting her golden-green eyes framed by well-shaped brows of the same shade as her hair and long blonde eyelashes (though she favors black mascara), and pale skin. Much to her chagrin, she also has a face that is dark with freckles (example) and no matter how much lemon juice she puts on them, they're there till the day she dies. She's also incredibly self-conscious about her feet, which are a an exceptional size ten. She's certainly tall for someone her age, standing around five feet seven inches and quite slender in shape, probably due to her brief stint with both ballet and swimming. Up until this past summer, everyone thought she was an adolescent boy (minus her exceptionally long hair) for lack of curves and strange height. Since she quite ballet, however, she's become very feminine looking (much to her brothers' dismay). She tends to stand slightly hunched, perhaps because of her shy demeanor, though this is not the case when anything musically related is brought up.
Personality:
In all actuality, Tammie is not as shy as she seems. It is due in large part to her brothers' excessive protection of her that she has become quite introverted. She was picked on relentlessly in her younger years for her red hair and freckle-filled face, prompting her elder brothers to act as bodyguard and protector. She is impeccably polite, almost painfully so. She is soft-spoken, but it does not disguise the fact that she is quite stubborn (though her brothers are even more so). Those who work hard enough to get close to her find that she's a very sweet individual and very self-sacrificing. She throws herself entirely into projects and people. She's very affectionate and craves touch and connection.
Background:
Tamara has lived on the Island for her entire life. Her family are 3rd generation inhabitants. Unlike her brothers and the rest of her family, Tamara was born red-haired and very shortly after developed a face full of freckles. As young children are wont to do, she was teased and bullied without pity for a great deal of her younger years, until her older brothers stepped in to defend the honor of their baby sister. They're very untrusting of anyone who talks to their sister, especially males, and Tamara has very few friends to name because of this fact. She truly does enjoy the company of others, but her hovering brothers make it nearly impossible.

- She is very musically inclined. She's been playing the piano since she was five and while she enjoys singing, she's quite self-conscious about her singing voice, even though it's quite lovely. It takes a lot of coaxing to get her to sing. (sample).

- She's a budding botanist and has an exceptional green thumb
- She lifeguarded at the beach over the summer. She's waiting to turn sixteen so she can get a job ideally at one of the stores in Amore Mall
- Her brothers encouraged her to follow in their footsteps, namely by attending Martin Van Buren, Tammie quickly jumped on the opportunity to get out from underneath her brothers' hovering shadow. She is the only one of the Prescott children to be attending Valevay.

Appearance:
Riley has always been the more athletically inclined of the Prescott children. He stands at a rounded six feet and while he is not visibly bulky, his wiry muscle and tone hint at his quiet menace. He has pierced ears and wears a cord with a few brightly colored beads on it around his wrist at all times (a present from a younger Tamara). While he and his twin brother are not entirely identical, they do their best to confuse their mother, keeping their blonde hair styled in the same carefully messy manner and often times dressing the same as his brother. They both have the same blue-violet eyes and strong, masculine chin. He certainly has an athlete's build, with broad shoulders, narrow waist, and straight hips.
Personality:
Riley is vivacious and gregarious. He is the least serious of the Prescott children, earning a reputation as a "class clown" of sorts. He's laid-back and easy-going, quite adventurous and congenial. Of course, while he may come off as being incredibly friendly, he's also not one to be trifled with. Quite protective and fond of his younger sister, he's not afraid to beat someone to a pulp if they inflict any sort of physical, emotional, or mental harm to his sister. There have been many jokes of him being "bipolar", though he is far from it.
Background:
Rai Island is all he's ever known. His aspirations for life do not extend far beyond the coasts of Rai Island. He's banking on his athletic skills to get him far in life, perhaps even into national leagues. He and his twin brother have an incredibly close bond, even though the two are almost polar opposites of each other. He's also fiercely protective of his younger sister.

- He's openly bi-sexual, though he admits to liking females more than males.
- Soccer is his one true love.
- He's the younger twin.
- Despite what people assume, Riley is not "stupid" or dense. He's actually very smart. In fact, he was smart enough to get into Valevay. But both he and his twin decided to prove that you could go places with a diploma from Martin Van Buren just as well as you could with one from Valevay. So they've been going to MVB since their Freshman year.

Appearance:
Coming in at a quarter inch below five feet eleven inches, he is visibly shorter than his twin, though not by much. While his brother is made to be an athlete, Rowan has a much softer appearance, though he's still quite fit looking. He has the Prescott blue-violet eyes and long golden hair, and the same pointed, masculine chin as his twin brother. Another noticeable difference between the two is Rowan's complexion. He is of a decidedly paler complexion, making his blue eyes and curled pink lips stand out as well as his strong brow. He has a pair of reading glasses that he has to use for reading, but he's incredibly embarrassed by them and does his best to avoid wearing them at all costs.
Personality:
While his brother is jovial and gregarious, Rowan is of a more bookish sort. He's ambitious and incredibly intelligent, spending much of his extra time at the library or bookstore. Fiction and nonfiction alike, he enjoys expanding his knowledge and learning new things. He's not introverted like his sister, but he is much quieter than his twin. He doesn't go out of his way to socialize with people. He is very in tune with nature and enjoys hikes on the weekend as well as daily yoga sessions. Don't let his quietness fool you, however. He's perfectly capable of being in-your-face and ruthless, especially when it comes to protecting his younger sister.
Background:
Rowan, like the rest of his siblings, was born and raised on Rai Island. While his twin sees sports as the only way off the Island, Rowan has much bigger goals, including medical school sometime in the future. He is fascinated with ER surgeons and the fast-paced work that they do. He and his twin have a very good relationship with each other, despite being almost polar opposites of each other. Beyond that, the Prescott children have lived very simple, leisurely lifestyles.

- He volunteers at the hospital on the weekends.
- He was seriously burned as a child in an accident. He had a patch of skin on his back that is not the same as the rest, due to a skin graft.
- He is incredibly smart, smart enough to get into Valevay. But he wanted to prove a point, that you could get just as far with a diploma from Martin Van Buren as you could with one from Valevay. He's been attending MVB since his Freshman year.

Name: Cassandra Amelia Sparks

Appearance: Cassandra stands at a lovely height of five-foot-two, all thanks to her mother's genes. They really don't know what happened to dad's genes, but they disappeared on the way in because none of the sisters share his height. But despite her short height, she has a decent build and has a nice hourglass shape, with long legs to match. She likes to keep her hair no longer than past her shoulder blades, and enjoys messing around with different styles. Currently, the longest strands just reach her shoulders. Her eyes are milk chocolate brown that tends to lighten on sunny days. This is one of the noticeable features she was gifted from her father, and she seems to be the only one, as her sisters share her mother's sparkly blues. That, and the dark coloring of her hair, are the only obvious physical features she shares with her dad. As far as clothing goes, many are suprised to find that she has very fashionable tastes, especially when going out to the mall or to any tourist-filled destinations.

Personality: Cassandra is considered to be somewhat of a drag by people who don't know her well enough. The first impression typically consists of her being a prude, picky, know-it-all, snob, or all of the above. It's not like she's trying to appear this way, but she has low tolerance for idiocy and obnoxiousness. Thus she appears rude and stuck-up, since she finds it much healthier to raise your chin indignantly, rather than snap with anger at ignorance.
If one pays close attention, they would found her blunt phrases to be underlined with teasing sarcasm and light-hearted mocking. This is her way of joking with others, and she rarely means for anything to insult the other person. Once someone gets to know her better, and develop an understanding of how her thoughts translate to her speech, they will be less likely to continue thinking of her as they may have in the very beginning. Although her major flaw is that she often has no volume control, and will talk loudly when excited or speaking to a person she likes. Many are surprised to learn that she has such strong vocal cords. And you can bet speed-talking comes right along with the loudness.

Background: Her mother, Amalia, was born native to Rai Island, and grew up in a lower-middle class family within Samo District. She'd always had a strong interest in animals, so her first job after highschool was at the local animal hospital. Richard Sparks, Cassandra's father, was also very interested in animals, and majored in Wildlife Biology in his home state, Florida. While working towards his masters, he joined an on-field research study that would take place in the jungle areas of Rai Island. He slowly but surely fell in love with the island; and that wasn't the only thing he fell in love with. After meeting Amalia at Ninatu Animal Hospital, she eighteen and he twenty-two, they also slowly but surely fell in love with each other. Before anyone had realized how serious they were with each other, it was discovered that Amalia was pregnant. They became engaged, though Richard had to head back to Florida to finish up his last two years of school. Once he'd graduated, he found stable and decent work on Rai Island, and moved there permanently. Cassandra was still very young at the time, so she had no memories of her father being away, though she can still remember how busy her father was as she grew up, due to the fact that he was working on the field constantly and also attending classes at a local university to further his studies. Somewhere in between his crowded schedule and Amalia's job at the animal hospital, they managed to squeeze in two more children. This was both a blessing and a curse for Cassandra, as one could assume. Because her parents made a decent living, they were able to scrounge up enough from their savings to send Cassandra to Valevay for high school.

Additional Info:
-Cassandra usually knows all that goes on on the island because her mother has the flaw of being a blabber mouth at home, and usually hears all the juicy gossip at her work due to the various ladies that work there. She can't say she likes it, even if she is well informed.
-After living in Cassandra's house for a week, one could easily come to a conclusion about why she speaks so loudly, at such high speeds. It's because the household is always on the move, and so they have to scream at one another to be heard, as well as get the words out quickly before they lose the other person's attention.
-She was named 'Cassandra' after her deceased grandmother on her father's side, who passed a couple years before she was born.
