The First Photoshoot

He took her hand in his and started walking towards the door, figuring she wanted to simply hold hands. "Of course! You're gonna like this place. They've got some of the best food on the whole damn island." He explained as he pulled her through the door, "You'll like the owners too. Real nice people, sweet as pie."

Once the two of them were inside, John pulled her towards the familiar booth that he and his family would sit in every time they came in. It was a large booth, naturally, as the boys would squeeze themselves into it upon each visit and never get into any trouble. In fact, they'd all been coming here since they were in diapers. And the now elderly couple who ran the place would always give each Wilder a huge slice of homemade pie after they'd finished their meals. No charge. Perhaps that was why they'd drop by on a weekly basis.

And once he and his lovely lady were seated, out came dear old Mrs. Huggle. She was only in her fifties, but she still seemed like a doting grandma to everyone who came in. As the little old lady shuffled over she stopped in front of the table and smiled, her face lighting up in recognition. "Why, if it isn't my little Johnny Wilder! How you doin', honey?" She said as she leaned her chubby body over and planted a smooch on his forehead, "And I see you brought a pretty girl with you! What's your name, hun?" The little old lady turned to Celi with a warm, friendly smile.

"That's a lovely name, my dear. Welcome to Huggle Diner, we've been in business for nearly thirty years now and I'd like to think we have a pretty solid menu." Mrs. Huggle said and produced a couple menus for the young couple, "I'll give you a minute or two to decide on drinks. Be right back, you little lovebirds." With that, she gave Celi a knowing wink and shuffled back into the kitchen to grab a tray of food for a nearby table. Once she had left, John sat forward in the booth and opened the menus for the two of them. Inside each menu, an extensive list of food and drink were listed. They had every kind of food that could be thought of when it came to home cooking, and even had a large allergen section for people with sensitivities to certain foods. "So... whatcha gettin'?" John asked, looking up at her over the menu.

The Huggle Diner was probably one of John's most favorite places on all Rai Island. It was one of the few places he could just let go, not keep up his badass persona, to just be candid and enjoy himself. In fact, it was one of the few places that the family could go to and have a great meal. And the free pie was top notch. He was absolutely certain that his lovely lady would find this place every bit as wonderful as the rest of his family did. When he folded his menu back up and slid it to the side, his pale blue eyes focused on the object of his desire.

The beautiful designer with her soft, lush pink tresses sat across from him. She looked radiant. Well, to him she was always the most breathtaking sight he'd ever seen. But then again, he was just some dirty hooligan. Some punk that dropped out of high school to get a job and support his family. He felt so lucky that she'd ever decided to give him any attention at all. The look on her face said she was anxious and he couldn't really understand why. He leaned forward and placed his hand atop hers. "What's eatin' ya, honey?"

He didn't miss a beat. "So, have you dated girls before then? Because I'm cool with that."
