Day 3 Park

"Oh great... Now I'm the bad guy." Lorilynn mumbled. She looked at Gadiel and sighed. "Look, don't be so down on yourself... You just frustrate me, that's all." That sounded bad. Lorilynn rubbed her left arm nervously and said "Well, I don't hate you... at least not yet, anyway." She smiled. It was a weird apology, but it didn't matter, just as long as she was sincere, right?

Laughing, Gadiel said, "I know. I'm not really too upset." He sat down in the grass next to her again. "I just couldn't resist hugging you!"

Lorilynn's face changed from a sweet smile to a huge scowl in under three seconds flat. She couldn't believe him. The nerve of that jerk! She was there apologizing and he wasn't even upset! Leon was wrong. There aren't many weirdos, just guys that can make you lose your cool in the first 10 minutes of being around them. "And that is why you make me insane." She said to him.

"I didn't tell you I was mad, did I?" he smiled a little. "Did I confuse you?" he asked. "I was even smiling a little when I said that."

Lorilynn wasn't going to let him get to her. She wasn't going to scream or yell. She was going to fight him. She was just going to sit there and be calm, cool, and collected. Lorilynn might throw a couple of nasty looks to him, but other than that, she wouldn't let him get to her.

"Well, I'm sorry I didn't notice." She said wrinkling her her nose. "You should try to be more clear next time."

He sat there beside her. "Don't worry. Next time I will be MUCH clearer," he promised her. "you'll know exactly what I'm thinking." he grinned. "Trust me...you won't be confused again." He scratched his knee. "Just so you know, I don't get mad often."

"Much clearer about what?" Lorilynn asked him. She didn't understand what was going through Gadiel's mind and to be quite frank, she didn't think she wanted to.If He made her insane just by talking to her most of the time, imagine how crazy his mind was. The very thought sent shivers up her spine. She straightened her posture before saying "Just forget I asked."

He laughed. "I think I am just confusing you. Possibly scaring you?" He shook his head. "I'm just teasing. Sorry if I am worrying you. I don't mean to."

"Like I said earlier, you don't scare me." She rolled her eyes. Lorilynn wondered about him. Did all guys act like this outside her home? Well, she did remember Chepe. He didn't seem that bad of a person. And he did phone her up once in a while to check on her when she had to leave. Hmm, maybe all the guys outside her home were nice, and this particular was just weird. After Gadiel explained himself to her, Lorilynn said "You're not worrying me. You just make me wonder."

He laughed. "I am making you wonder about me?? Why?" he was really interested in what she had to say. He decided maybe he'd start being a little less prone to teasing her. Maybe he went too far with that one.

Lorilynn turned to face Gadiel. She watched him for a moment. He looked very eager to know what she was thinking and why. She kept quiet, hoping that the silence was unbearable for him. After staring at him for a while, a smirk slowly made it's way to her lips. "I'm sorry, but I believe that information is confidential." She let out a small laugh before looking away from him.

"Oh well," he said. "I really don't need to know." He looked away from her and picked some more blades of grass, looking up at the sky. He loved the weather today. It was fun even though he was with a girl who seemed rather bent on being unpleasant. It didn't bother him, since he didn't feel the need to keep up a conversation. No matter how pretty she was. He was enjoying her company either way.

"I'm surprised you don't want to. You seemed so eager a moment ago." Lorilynn said quietly. She then turned her attention to Yui. Yui had been awfully quiet for a while. She seemed lost in her own little world. Lorilynn decided to shake her out of it. "So, Miss Yui," She started. "Do you have any hobbies? Talents?" She figured she should know this stuff, since they were friends now.

"While I AM interested, I don't require knowing." Gadiel said, smiling. "It's fine if you do not wish to tell me. " He smiled at her and played with the grass he had picked, not surprised she hadn't asked him anything about his likes. He didn't know if he would have told her anyway.

Yui was staring off into space again but was brought back to reality when she heard Lorilynn's voice. She stared at her blankly for a second and then nodded her head energetically with a huge smile on her face. "Yes! I'm in Rhythmic Gymnastics!" She said happily up to her.

"If you say so." She said to Gadiel. Lorilynn didn't think he'd give up so quickly, since he seemed so persistent. But oh well, what can you do?

"I'm in Rhythmic Gymnastics!"

"Rhythmic Gymnastics?" Lorilynn wondered aloud. "Really? You're kind of clumsy. Are you any good at it?" Lorilynn smiled, patiently awaiting her response.

"well, you really don't seem to be enjoying my company." Gadiel said. "So I don't want to feel you have to talk to me unless you want to." He smiled slowly. "I AM enjoying talking to YOU, and enjoying yours though."

Yui stared at her for a second trying to figure out a way to prove she was good at it. She sat there rubbing her chin just pondering what to do. Then a smile stretched across her face and she stood up in front of Lorilynn, dusted herself off and then she bent backwards and peeked her head through her legs. "I think so..." She saidwith a small smile on her face. She then un wrapped herself and on her way up she tripped and fell back down onto her bum. Her face turned deep red with embarrassment. "hehe... im still in training..." She said as she scratched the back of her head bashfully.

"It's ok, Yui." Gadiel said. "You don't need to be embarrassed." he said, getting to his feet and bending down, he reached out, gently took her hand in his and helped her stand again. "Are you ok?" he asked.

Lorilynn frowned, turning her attention away from Yui for a moment. This guy was making her look bad. "I never said I wasn't enjoying your company. Stop putting words in my mouth." Though it was true that she felt Gadiel made her insane, she wasn't not enjoying his company. At the same time, though, she never said she was enjoying it either. She did wonder why Gadiel liked talking to her though. She'd been nothing but moody and rude to him most of the time. She was about to ask him why when her attention was grabbed by Yui, who was now twisting herself in an odd shape. Lorilynn's eyes widened at the sight. "Oh wow! That's really cool... Question is, can you get yourself out now?" Lorilynn giggled. After watching Yui get herself out and tumble, Lorilynn stretched her arm out to her in reflex. She put her arm down and sighed in relief once Gadiel helped her up to her feet. "Are you alright?"

Gadiel was getting irritated now. "I never put words into your mouth. I stated my observation that you did not SEEM to be enjoying my company." He looked at her. "You stop putting words in MY mouth, as I didn't say it." He shook his head, wondering why he was still talking to this unpleasant girl. Mayebe it was because he believed everyone deserved a chance to make friends. But he was close to exploding on her. He was shocked. It took A LOT to make him mad.

Yui stared at Gadiel's hand for a second and then poked it to make sure it wouldn't bite. Then she grabbed a hold of it and hoisted herself up. "Thanks..." She said shyly, a blush still apparent on her face. She looked at both of their concerned faces and smiled at them. "Yep! i'm fine!" She said energetically. "the first thing they taught me is how to fall!" She said happily. She laughed nervously when she saw Gadiel getting mad. she tried to think of a way to change the subject before world war three started up again and then she thought of something. It was stupid but she had to try. "LOOK!! A PURPLE HIPPO!!" She screamed as she pointed behind them.

Lorilynn narrowed her eyes at him. "Huh? How am I putting words in your mouth? You did say it! And in any case, you shouldn't assume things that I never-!"

"LOOK!! A PURPLE HIPPO!!"

That caught Lorilynn off guard. "Wha? What are you talking about Yui?" She asked, staring at her. She was trying to make a point, she didn't have time to look at purple hippos... They didn't even exist! Lorilynn cocked her head to the side and stared at Yui for a moment. She was a bit... Strange? She didn't think that was the word for it. Maybe Whimsical?...

"Maybe you'll understand if I speak slower, do you think? I said YOU DON'T SEEM TO BE. NOT You ARE not. Do you understand yet??

"A purple hippo? what is that?" he said, off guard.

Yui smiled up as them and then grabbed their arms and spun them in the dirrection she saw the hippo. "Yeah right over there!" She said as she pointed off into the distance. "See it?" She asked as she laughed a little.
